 love the posters, but hate the black resign frameFeb 20, 2011

I really like the posters. They are very good quality prints and are very detailed. I would advise against upgrading to the black resign frames. For $7.50 per poster you get two pieces of plastic rims for the poster (one long and one short). Their purpose would seem to be to reinforce the poster when hanging them up with thumb tacks so that the stress would be on the resign frame, but the frames do not grip the posters very snugly and there is no difference than if you were to hang the posters up without them. I do strongly recommend the posters, but stay away from the black resign frame option.

My 8 year old picked this poster. It's fine, I wish it included Ceres. My complaint-- I am not sure what they meant by professionally framed, or "ready-to-hang" in the description. It was neither. The poster was framed in one of those frames that you push in the little tabs on the back to keep the picture in place...I don't need a professional for that. I consider professionally framed to have brown paper backing sealed in place around the frame and hangers in place on the frame itself...you know like you get from a one of those big art/hobby stores that do that kind of thing. We had to place the sawtooth hangers on the frame ourselves. There were predrilled holes to push them in, but if I had known the kind of framing job I would have bought the poster and then bought a poster frame at one of the above mentioned art/hobby stores. We didn't return it, because it's for an 8 year old's room, and he's happy with it. But, then, it wasn't his money spent either.

I put this in a frame in my son's bedroom. He loves it and it looks great. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I would like to first say thank you to the company/user who sent me my posters in the mail. They were very patient and understanding with me in the process of buying the product and then needing to return it, to purchasing them again. I have a 2 year old who loves looking at the poster and its great to interact with her while she points at all the different planets. Very useful!

this poster has great color and description. it was interesting enough that even my 4 year old granddaughter was interested in the pictures and asked about things. now, i thought it was very WEIRD that our 5 month old cat sat on a stool in front of it, looked upward at it...staring...continuously..nonstop. it mustve been the business of the picture?
