This is NOT the original poster that Mulder had hanging in his office. In fact, this poster was never in any X-Files episode ever. This poster was created in the UK and used a real photo of a famous UFO in an attempt to re-create the "X-Files" original. The original looks very different. In the original, the UFO is saucer-shaped and not bell-shaped.
There are two versions of the poster that were used in the series. This is not one of them, but its still kind of cool.

It's a bit more washed out and lighter than the advertised image, and the photography is blurry. Still good for what you pay for, and what X-Files fan hasn't wanted one of these?

This poster is the only one I've seen that actually looks exactly like the official poster in Mulder's basement. I have it hanging on my wall now. Fans of X-Files will definitely be pleased. Good price too.

Not only is the poster I received not the one in the show, its not even the one advertised HERE. The one I was mailed has almost no color variation, and not only that, but the shape of the hills and trees doesn't match the thumbnail this person is advertising.
Fans of the show will recognize it simply for the fact that they managed to get the four words right, but the similarities end there.

All in all, it's a good representation of the actual poster in Mulder's office. Unlike the official product, this one looks like a still from an old home video, sort of like the "Bigfoot" footage that I'm sure everyone's familiar with. Very nice touch.
The official poster looks incredibly fake and is just airbrushed all to hell. In my opinion, this poster is superior.
